15. Deliblato Sands
Serbia has its very own desert and it is called the Deliblato Sands. The Deliblato Sands is one of the last known European deserts that still exists to this day and it is also home to at least 1,000 species of plants that thrive on sand, forest and some water areas.
Acacia trees with some Pine trees in between are abundant in the Deliblato Sands. Aside from the plants, there are some wildlife animals and insects living in the area too.
