14. Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum is a major museum located in Cromwell Road, South Kensington and it displays items from the following sciences – botany, entomology, mineralogy, paleontology and zoology. All in all there are at least 80 million life and earth science specimens in the museum, some of which were personal collections of the great Charles Darwin. It was founded in 1881 and it used to be called British Museum. In 2015 alone, this museum had around 5.2 million visitors.
