14. Al Wahbah Crater
Al Wahbah Crater is considered a nature wonder in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is a volcanic crater which can be toured. The crater, from afar, looks like white sand but it really is sodium phosphate. Sodium phosphates are not toxic and it’s literally like salt.
At first, it was believed that the crater was molded because of a meteorite crashing on the spot. But geologists later on found out that there was an underground eruption which made this maar crater like it is today. Visiting Al Wahbah is a fun activity to do in KSA!
