14. Pyramid of Djoser
Sometimes, it is called Zoser or Djeser but it is more commonly known as Pyramid of Djoser. The Pyramid of Djoser is what they term as a “step pyramid” made of pure limestone which is situated near Memphis and it is a Sakkara or an ancient and sacred burial ground. It is sad that Pharaoh Djoser had this pyramid set up for his right hand man, Imhotep. This was the first pyramid ever created in Egypt which has six mastabas and at a height of 203 feet.
