14. Mount Karisimbi
A landmark in Democratic Republic of the Congo is Mount Karisimbi. This mountain is actually a volcano but it has been dormant for a very long time. The last known eruption of this mountain was 8050 BC. Mount Karisimbi has a portion that lies in Democratic Republic of the Congo and an area wherein it belongs to the border of Rwanda. It is the 11th tallest peak in all of Africa with an elevation of 4,507 meters or 14,787 feet.
